The Annual American Cancer Society Pittsburgh Tribute of Light Celebration will begin the weekend before Thanksgiving as part of our Lighting Spectacular! The UPMC Rink at PPG Place will glow with donated Tributes throughout the weekend.
Show your support for those currently battling cancer or honor the memory of loved ones lost to the disease by making a donation to purchase a Tribute today.
Typical event details:
4:15 PM – Tribute pick up opens
4:35 PM – Welcoming remarks
4:45 PM – Natalie’s School of Champions baton twirling
5:15 PM – RMU Island Sports Ice Figure Skating Show
5:45 PM – Tribute of Light Ceremony begins with a live performance by Olivia Sperber
6:00 PM – The UPMC Ultimate Holiday Tree Experience!
Lighting by American Cancer Society Honoree, a Local Childhood Cancer Survivor
6:10 PM – Open skate! $1 from each skater will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
